This is our third post about how you can attract the next generation of talent into your organisation.
We are very fortunate at School of Thought to have such a wonderful partner in StudySmarter.
We did a brief introduction in an earlier post, but in this one we really wanted to let you know how working with StudySmarter can really enhance your potential to reach thousands of young people and let them know about you, your business and the opportunities within it.
Often we hear that businesses struggle to find the next generation of talent, so at School of Thought we wanted to give guidance to support Automotive businesses, and to dispel myths that young people are not interested, or can’t be bothered. Young people ARE out there and they ARE interested and they ARE bothered, 4 days at the British Motorshow proves that.
Our first post was about engaging with your Comm-UNITY through our Schools and Ambassador programme, our second was aimed at how to advertise for an Apprenticeship, so this really is the final instalment in the trilogy of attraction and engagement.
Using technology to support all the other great things you can do, really does set you apart from the rest.
StudySmarter has been recognised as one of the top 10 superstar companies in Emerge Education’s Edtech 20:20 vision list. They are an ‘all-in-one’ study and learning app for students, offering free study content and tools to help them navigate their studies, whether they are in school, college, or university.
In the UK, they have 2.1 million active students using their platform, and over 25 million globally. Just imagine the reach you could have!
Their onboarding process allows them to understand their students in great detail. As part of this, students inform them if they are interested in early talent programmes, what areas they are specifically interested in, and they are able to target students with employer information relevant to their interests and skills.
Employers can engage and promote early careers roles directly into their learning process, as well as add their programmes and opportunities directly onto the job board.
They are able to target students by location, age, study year, study subject, gender and more, meaning they can ensure their programmes reach the right student at the right time. This is fantastic if you struggle in a certain location or want to encourage more females or younger people for example.
They offer brand awareness campaigns, brand awareness and performance campaigns, and pure performance campaigns (Cost per application), meaning you can really measure ROI. Particularly important when you have a budget and measurements to do!
They are already working with a number of organisations supporting their early careers programme attraction. Helping to build them as an ’employer of choice’ as well as actively engage with students promoting their early careers programmes. Could this be the differentiator to make YOU the Employer of choice for young people?
